I recently had the opportunity to stay at Star City while juggling my work commitments during a trip to Chennai, and overall, I found the experience quite balanced in terms of luxury and value. The location is a major plus, right in the city center, making it convenient to access local attractions. My room was spacious with good air conditioning-a must after a long day of meetings in the humid climate. While the flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities were appreciated, I did encounter some downside, specifically with room service. It seemed inconsistent, and I often found myself sourcing meals externally. The complimentary toiletries were a nice touch, though. One standout aspect was the staff; they were generally attentive, though the front desk could benefit from more enthusiasm in their service. Valet parking is available, making arrivals and departures hassle-free. If you simply seek practicality and comfort without the exorbitant price tag, Star City might be your go-to in Chennai.
